What to Wear Part 2 | Meadville Family Photographer

I had so much fun finding those cute outfits last week that I thought I would have another What to Wear post this week! This time, I found outfits for the whole family.

Dad's outfit consists of jeans and a chocolate blazer from Old Navy and a great rust colored sweater from Gap.

All three children's outfits are from Old Navy. Super cute!

Mom's outfit is from Gap. This was a tricky one because Gap also had an awesome orange colored courderoy skirt that would look fab with a chocolate sweater. So many fun choices this time of year. Makes me want to go shopping, not that I need a reason ;-)

What to wear | Meadville Family Photographer

Every now and then, I come across some outfits that I just love. I saw these in our local baby Gap and just fell in love. So, I am making them part of my first "what to wear" post. People ask me all the time what they should wear or dress their kids in for a shoot. Well, here are some ideas! Both of the girls outfits are from the Chelsea Collection. To be honost, there are so many adorable style in that line, it was hard to choose just a couple. All of these outfits can be found on gap.com. Put dad in a nice chocolate corduroy blazer with some jeans and mom in either pink or aqua/teal top and a skirt or jeans and you're all set!

I had the pleasure of spending an evening with this awesome family a couple weeks ago. Years and years ago, I showed horses with Missy. She is now a fantastic trainer and runs/owns Circle M Training. She rocks.

It was beautiful and warm out, but not after our initial shoot was cancelled, due to...wait for it...RAIN. Shocking, isn't it? These three were so much fun and even drove me on their golf cart to the different locations! SO COOL! I didn't even fall off :-)

So, without further delay, here are a few of the pictures from my evening with the S family!

This weekend, Bryan and I took a trip to Michigan to participate in/help with a golf event for Jack. The event went exceptionally well. Of course, tears were shed, but money was raised for CHD research which is a very important thing.

While we were there, I was able to snap a few shots of my friend Jen's little girl, Leryn. She is a beautiful little girl, about to turn 3 months old. Here are a couple shots from the first attempt...

I also grabbed a few pictures of Jack's little brother, Noah. He is a sweetie!!! He also happens to be a very handsome little guy :-)

Check out those eyelashes!! Mine don't even look like that with Mascara!

I was fortunate enough to photographer this awesome senior last week. She was so cute and so fun! We were blessed with a warm, sunny day, even though those have been so rare these days. We trekked though the campus and found some really cool locations. It was a great time!

Rain did it EVER! Pour would be a better word. As I was on my way to this shoot, the skies just opened up and flooded our little town. Amazing as it may seem, the sun came out and the rain stopped at the very time our session was beginning. Luckily, I was meeting up with an awesome mom who loved the idea of her kids playing in the puddles in their gorgeous clothes. It was SO MUCH FUN! The kids were soaked, but had a great time.

On Friday, despite evening rain, I was able to get together with one of my Senior Reps for part 1 of his Senior photo shoot. We managed to avoid any heavy downpours and we had a great time. He is very talented with the guitar, so we included that in our session. Andrew is so funny and I enjoyed spending time with him.

For months, Bryan & I had been talking about how badly we needed an updated family photo. We already had outfits chosen and everything. One day, we finally decided to set up the tripod and give it a shot! They aren't anything fabulous, but at least we have a few shots of the four of us together now.

I am also going to use these pictures as an example of what to wear for a family photo shoot. I found Tatum's dress first and loved it. It had a lot of colors in it and was just so fun. I pulled colors out of that for our outfits. Don't be afraid of color or patterns when choosing outfits for photos!

I had the pleasure of spending some time with the L family on Friday. It was a chilly day, so we spent most of our time inside, but we did manage to capture a few shots outdoor, as well. The kids were oh-so-cute and very good, too! J is SUCH a good big brother. He really loves his little sisters, you can tell :-)

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of shooting engagement pics for a sweet couple, Somer & Luke. We headed to the beach and they were troopers through the cold wind.
